About Rules

Eligibility

  1. Players must be in possesion of DARTSLIVE CARD.
  2. Players have understood and agreed to all of AMERICA'S TOUR Player Rules (hereafter called "RULES").
  3. Players must wear uniforms specified in the RULES to participate in this tournament.
  4. Players must be a resident of the United States of America or Canada who are older than 13 years old. This is venue specific. Those participating under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian in attendance at all times. In accordance with the purpose of the event, we may decline the participation of the people who are related to dart machine makers other than the tournament operator. Dress Code

  1. "Uniform" includes collared shirts, pants, trousers and shoes.
  2. Players will receive AMERICA'S TOUR official badge at the entry desk on their first STAGE of participation for this tour event. Please make sure to secure a space for sewing the badge on the uniform.
    The badge must be affixed in the position as specified in the RULES.
    *Players are required to sew the official badge on their uniforms from their second participation onwards. Players are required to sew the official badge on their uniforms from their second participation onwards.
  3. Players must wear heel-length pants or trousers. Wearing distressed, destroyed, ripped jeans, pants and trousers at the event is not permitted.
  4. Players are allowed to wear leather shoes or sports shoes. Wearing sandals, slippers, long boots and open toe shoes at the event is not allowed.
  5. Wearing headgear such as a hat or cap during the event is NOT permitted. However, if a player needs to wear headgear for religious, medical and/or other reasons, please obtain prior approval from the AMERICA'S TOUR committee.
  6. DARTSLIVE USA has the right to judge the appropriateness of players' uniforms according to the RULES.
    Even if a player's uniform is judged inappropriate for the event, the said player is able to participate in the tournament if he/she changes his/her uniform to the one specified and/or approved by the event operator.

Sponsor Logos

Name and/or logo may not be worn by the players if the name and/or logo corresponds to the below rules/guidelines.

  1. Name and/or logo is of a dartboard manufacturer other than DARTSLIVE
  2. Name and/or logo is of any event other than America's Tour (unless a co-sponsor). The ones sponsoring for this event are exempted from this rule
  3. DARTSLIVE USA has final authority on uniform logos.

Game Format

Regarding the game format, please refer to the information (rules) provided at the start of the tournament.

Tournament Rule
DARTSLIVE2 is to be used as the official machine of the tournament.
DARTSLIVE card has at least 20 games (10-01' and 10-CRICKET registered games).
DIV I & II - Bust rule will apply with rating changes of 2.5 or more. *Card ratings will be documented during registration, Top 16, and Top 8 for Division I & II. Players that have had ratings increase by 2.5 or more will be forfeited from the AMERICA'S TOUR tournament. Player may enter into the Parity Draw tournament at the higher rating.

Pre-Match Practice Throws

Each player is allowed to take 2 rounds of practice throws (6 darts throws) before the match.

Throwing Order of the Game

  1. The throwing order of the 1st Leg will be decided by Cork.
  2. In the 2nd to 4th legs, the player who lost in the previous leg will throw first.
  3. Coin toss function of DARTSLIVE2 will decide the player who throws for the Cork first.
  4. The player who throws closest to the center of the BULL can choose his/her throwing order.
  5. If the first player's dart hits the center of the BULL, the second player is required to acknowledge the first player's dart is in the center of the BULL, remove the dart and then throw for the cork.
  6. In the final leg (Choice), players will throw for the Cork again. The winner of the Cork can choose either to "throw first" or "select a game".

01 Game Rules

  1. "Open In / Master Out" option will be applied for 701 game.
    Master-Out is a 01 game finishing rule. When the Master Out rule is applied, a player must hit the BULL, Triple or Double to finish the game.
  2. Round limits will be 20 for all divisions.
  3. If neither players finishes the 01 game, regardless of the remaining scores, players are required to throw at the Cork and the one who throws closest to the center of the BULL wins the game.

Cricket Game Rules

  1. Standard Cricket will be played for this tour.
  2. Round limits for Standard Cricket is 20 rounds for all divisions.
  3. If neither players finishes the Cricket game, the player with the HIGHER SCORE wins the game. If both players have the same score, the Cork rule will be applied. The player who throws closer to the center of the BULL wins the game.
  4. In case neither player finishes the game within the round limit, use the same throwing order as the game for throwing the Cork.

How to amend incorrect scoring

  1. If a dart machine incorrectly records the score and if a dart thrown is remaining stuck in the board, "Reverse-A-Round" function will be used to ammend the score.
    Correct points will be entered by pressing the target segment where the dart is stuck. If a dart thrown does not stick in the board and falls off, the score which the dart machine records will be taken as the valid score.
  2. Please be aware that incorrect score can only be ammended when the dart remains on the target board. If the dart is removed from the board, players will not be allowed to ammend their score.
  3. In case the game has to be suspended and restarted for reasons such as power outage, with mutual consent of players, event staff will restore the game scores and progress.
    If it is not possible to restore the game, the leg which was in progress will be reset and players will be asked to play a new game.

OPEN DIVISION Point Tie

In the event of a point tie in the OPEN Division, players will:

  1. Play a tie-breaker game, if between 2 players
  2. If there are 3 or more players tied for points there will be a tie-breaker round robin.
    These will be done on Sunday morning prior to the start of the Top 16 playoff matches at Stage 5.

Other Rules

  1. Players are required to use darts which can be recognized as "Soft Darts" consisting of soft tips, barrel, shaft and flight.
  2. The weight per dart must be less than 25g in total.
  3. Tips must be made of plastic material.
  4. When throwing darts, the front foot must stay behind the front edge of the throw line.
  5. During the match, players are required to insert their DARTSLIVE CARDs into the dart machine.

Tournament Eligibility Suspension/Revocation

  • Players, in the OPEN DIVISION, who did not participate in the event after completing the tournament entry are obliged to pay US$ 100 penalty fee unless DARTSLIVE USA is notified no less than 2 weeks prior to the event. NO REFUNDS.
  • Players who engage in any of the following acts without due reason will be suspended for one year from taking part in AMERICA'S TOUR.
  • Abandoning matches and walking off from the venue without any notification after the commencement of the tournament.
  • Playing darts while intoxicated, intentionally delaying the game and engaging in any other acts that are disturbing to the operations of the event.
  • Committing any other acts against public order and morals and/or acts that lack the sense of sportsmanship.

Players who engage in the acts listed below will be subject to the revocation of their participation in AMERICA'S TOUR and other events hosted by DARTSLIVE USA permanently and/or their entitlement to the prize money.

  1. Using false government Identification or ID of a person other than the player himself/herself.
  2. Playing dishonestly and fraudulently to each other. Playing fixed games.
  3. When a player becomes liable to criminal charges during the tour event periods.
  4. Using abusive language during matches, slandering and defaming others, committing violent acts and/or making false reports during the tournament.
  5. If a violation of the RULES is not corrected within a reasonable period of time stated in the violation notice.

Obligations players must follow

  1. Players who are participating in this event grant absolute right to AMERICA'S TOUR for using pictures and video images filmed during the event for advertising and commercial purposes without limitations on time period, place and/or methods.
  2. DARTSLIVE USA has the authority to ask the participating players to attend the photo sessions and interviews, and the players are required to accept such requests.

Important Notes

  1. DARTSLIVE USA has the right to remove or refuse any players who are found to be impediments to the event or event progress from participating in the tournament.
  2. Taking pictures is not permitted during the tournament. In case the still pictures or moving pictures are taken during the tournament, the event operator will confiscate such photos and movies and prohibit publishing them.
  3. Manufacturers and organizations that are not official sponsors of the event must not use AMERICA'S TOUR trademark and the titles awarded at the event for their advertisement purposes without approval from DARTSLIVE USA.

Other Notes

The event guidelines will be updated whenever necessary and the contents in these guidelines constitute the RULES and will be used as the official rules of the AMERICA'S Tour.
